Kawaii... It's Japanese for cute!

This week I received an invitation from Andrea at Kawaii Kids to check out her new collection of Japanese sweetness. So I decided to take the invitation and run with it… all around the store like a mad woman, until I had filled up two big virtual baskets full of whimsical winter delights to share with you…

My first stop was the girls department where I picked out kaleidoscope of colourful winter clothes. One of the coolest things about Japanese kids clothes is that you can always expect to see bright, adventurous colour combinations and characters. My favourite garment is the pink spotty swing hem top, perfect for winter layering.

Next stop, the boys department! This winter it’s all about cool street style. The Flag Distressed Denim Jeans are some of the coolest that I’ve seen this season, so cool in fact that they’re almost sold out… so get in quick if you’d like to snap up a pair! I’m also digging the Panda Boots, they have a cool little guy style with just a touch of cuteness {but not too cute that the boys won’t like them…}
