It’s 1988… I fondly remember cutting up old music t-shirts and turning them into funky creations on my Mum’s trusty Singer sewing machine. Of course, such was my sewing ability that they were lucky to make it through one hair-brush-singing-gogo-dancing rendition of ‘holiday’ by Madonna… but they forever cemented my love of upcycled creations and sparked my interest in See-Sam.

See-Sam create a range of kids clothing made from upcycled t-shirts, blended with new knit fabrics. You can expect to see a few retro favourites {think Atari, GI-joe and The Smurfs} mixed in with music tees and cool prints. I’m personally digging the pop-art number above for eclectic, stand out from the crowd dressing.

See-Sam came to life one day when designers Amanda & Rebecca were enjoying a leisurely cup of coffee while watching their kids happily playing in their back yard. Struck by inspiration, they decided to try their hand at making a range of kids clothing and accessories such as hair clips and tutus for a local Mumma’s Fair in Yeppoon, QLD. After receiving a positive response, they took the plunge and stepped into the online world.

See-Sam upcycled kids clothing is now available for purchase in Amanda & Rebecca’s Madeit Store. You’ll find a range of cool one-of-a-kind creations for kids as little as 6 months old, right through to 10 years.

From one Rocky girl to another, WELL DONE See Sam you know we think you guys rock!!!! Plus little Miss London is the cutest…. (aren’t Mum’s always biased?)
