billy mac... cooler than fonzie!

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of kids labels that blend cool modern colours with iconic / pop culture imagery. Today I have the pleasure of introducing an Australian handmade label that I’ve had my eye on for the past couple of months… billy mac!

At the forefront of the billy mac label is Christina Coleman, work at home mum of two little girls. Christina started working from home after the birth of her first child, running a graphic design and advertising business. After the birth of her second baby, she started billy mac clothing.

The label now boasts a super cool range of printed t-shirts, hoodies and baby onesies for the coolest kids in town {ages 0-8}. When choosing which designs make it into the billy mac collection, Christina asks herself… “would Fonzie wear this t-shirt?โ€ {this gave me the giggles}.

Billy mac designs are built tough from 100% cotton {organic for the onesies} and designed with play in mind. A reasonable price-point means thatย  it doesnโ€™t really matter if they get covered in paint {if you ask me, paint adds character!}. The inspiration behind the boys collection came from the garage; think vintage cars and bikes. The girls range is inspired by pop culture, fine arts and interiors.

Each design in the billy mac collection may be printed on any colour t-shirt, with custom designs and prints also available. You can even request one for Dad!
