In honour of Bastille Day {celebrated on Wednesday 14 July} I thought I’d serve up a few handmade Frenchy delights to tantalize your crafty taste buds. These are a few of my favourite french fresh baked flavours {boy, that’s a bit of a tongue twister}.

I adore this first little outfit from Handmade by Jen {to the left} for it’s divine Eiffel Tower fabric print. I’m also a sucker for a pinafore! Match it up with this glorious Mademoiselle Doll by Mon Petit Poppet, and invite your friends around for an afternoon of Frenchy fun {I suggest chocolate eclairs… or you could always try your hand at the Macaron Tower…}

Next up today, I’d like to introduce you to Monsieur Fournier, a handmade doll by La Carnivale Extraordinaire…”A flamboyant gentleman, he is found in many outfits which he changes regularly, receiving admiring glances from ladies and gentlemen alike!” Ooh la la!
To the right, is one of the cutest little French inspired outfits I’ve had the pleasure of discovering. I simply adore the sailor style pants, they’re irresistible! Made from an Oliver + s pattern by The Pea Green Boat.

Our last pair of goodies are two items that I fell in love with this week while snooping around for treats at madeit. The French Carousel Singlet to the left is by Oopsidaisi, and is hand-dyed and embellished with a hand-cut wool felt applique. The Paris Princess Toile Hair Bow to the right is by Under My Wing and is available in taupe & black or pink & ivory… tres chic!
Well, that’s it for today folks… I’m off to pick up some Thai for dinner and chill out with the family. I hope you have a fabulous weekend! Be sure to drop in and visit tomorrow for some more handmade goodness.
