Happy Monday Folks! It’s been a while since we’ve had a special delivery post so I thought I’d start this week off with a little giveaway especially for those of you who haven’t seen the postman around much lately. So if your letter box is feeling lonely, read on folks… this one’s for you!
For those of you who are new to {KID} independent, special delivery is a series of posts dedicated to the humble hand-written note, a friendly postman and a brown paper package tied up with string. Isabell’s Umbrella is the creation of Ashley Giessing, an artist who believes she should have been born in the nineteenth century, when all correspondence was done by hand {oh… I hear ya sista!}. Ashley is a mum of two, lover of stationery and collector of books. Her range includes cute artwork, magnets, cards, invitations and bookplates… my favourite is the Molly Walker print {image at top of page}.

I love sending hello cards so the Send a Smile Note Cards (Hello There) are right up my alley!
My daughter loves sending notes to her friends, so I would say the send a smile hedgehog cards would be her favourite (and mine!).
