I’ve been swooning over the delicious spring summer collection from Olive’s Friend Pop all morning and thought it was only fair that I share the retro goodness with you. I suggest reading this post to the theme from Happy Days, in honour of the beautiful Joanie Overalls… now if only there was a garment named Charchi.

Olive’s Friend Pop is a nostalgic take on modern children’s clothing, with to-die-for liberty prints in summer hues of red, green, purple, lemon and my favourite, baby blue. I can’t get enough of the ric-rac detailing, sharp pleats and perfectly placed buttons and trims. I’ll take one of each thanks!

This spring, Olive’s Friend Pop introduces us to Alice, Doris, Bessie, Lily, Ava, Ethal, Etta, Minnie and Joanie. Doesn’t that roll call sound like you’re watching re-runs of Classic TV Shows from the 1950s? Sometimes I truly wish that I was born about 20 odd years earlier in the “Leave it to Beaver” era… ahh, simple times!

The spring summer collection from Olive’s Friend Pop is landing in stores as I type. You can also snap up your favourite piece from their online store.

Oh they are just gorgeous and I love the Apron Pinafore at the top. xo
I love, love, love Olive’s Friend Pop & I adore all the clothes names just as much! So pretty.
i just died of fabulousness
Ooooh, I know! It’s going to be a FABULOUS summer :}
Just beautiful! It reminds me my own dresses as a child. I’m wondering when they’ll finally get a retailer in NZ…
Oooh! Olive’s Friend Pop is sooooo beautiful.
I TOTALLY second the idea of some Chachi overalls to go with those Joanies for my B/G twins! And, considering I want a pair for me, maybe some grown-up Marion Cunninghams’s!!! (Mrs C. wasn’t really a short-shorts kinda mum, though! Or maybe I missed that episode?)
So so gorgeous!!
Rosa, you will be able to get this collection at uniqueboutique.com in NZ!
Thanks for your support everyone. Lea (from Olive’s friend Pop). x
