Special Delivery - Little Rose Giveaway

I noticed this week that my normally cheerful postman was looking a bit down in the dumps. It’s most likely due to the torrential rain we’ve been having in Queensland lately. So in honour of spreading some postal cheer, I thought it was about time for a Special Delivery post! Get excited friends… because this package from Little Rose is about as charming as it gets!

Little Rose Handmade Bloomers

For those of you who are new to {KID} independent, special delivery is a series of posts dedicated to the humble hand-written note, a friendly postman and a brown paper package tied up with string. Each one gives you the opportunity to win a Special Delivery package, delivered straight to your door from one of our favourite indie designers.

The Little Rose spring summer collection is inspired by Pippi Longstocking, a personal favourite of Little Rose designer Mijke Hoogervorst. Pippi is famous for her colourful, playful and somewhat offbeat nature. Who were your favourite fictional characters as a child? Scroll down to the bottom of this post to share your memories with us, and go in the draw to win a super cool prize from Little Rose.

I had a couple but the main ones that I remember are Dot from ‘Dot and the Kangaroo’ and Sooty from “The Sooty Show’. I adored then when I was little and wanted to be just like Dot, obviously not the lost in the bush part but becoming friends with animals

As a child (and still now!) my favourite characters were Dorothy and the Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz. I also loved Kimba the White Lion. Rupert the Bear and all of Enid Blyton’s characters.
