Welcome to day six of the Plushie Palooza Toy Festival. Today’s charming and well dressed dolly is handmade by Catherine from Made by Maisie. Miss Mousey is an original design by Maisie Dolls and is sewn by both machine and hand. Miss Mousey wears a sweet mouse print from Minny Muu and her hair is made from a wool blend felt. Her face is hand embroidered and she is stuffed with polyfil. Maisie Dolls are not suitable for children under three as they have small buttons hand sewn to their dress.
Catherine from Made by Maisie, a first time mum to 6 month old Harry, is located in Brisbane, QLD and has been making dolls and softies for three years. She draws her inspiration from the sweet designs of 1930s fabrics and uses primarily Aunt Grace 1930s reproduction fabrics. She has also recently introduced the Minny Muu fabric from Lecien into her doll range. Maisie Dolls can be purchased online at Etsy, at BrisStyle markets and selected boutiques around Australia.

OMG I just love her. She actually reminds me of my Rosie. My Aunty made her for me when I was only 5 years old (many years ago :O) I carted her around with me everywhere I absolutely loved her. My little girl would be very lucky to have something so special.
