Fresh Baked Friday - To Market, To Market!

It’s Fresh Baked Friday! What do you have planned for the weekend? Perhaps a spot of shopping at the Billycart Christmas Market? It’s on this Saturday {11 December, 2010} at the Lakes Parish Hall in Narrabeen, NSW. Here’s a few of my favourite handmade sweeties that you’ll find at the market.

Handmade Baby Wraps by Summer Luv

First up, are these delicious UV Baby Wraps by Summer Luv. Made from breathable mesh which is super soft to touch and stretchy enough for a fabulous fit, the collection comes in a range of colours with contrasting designer print fabric. The adorable photo is courtesy of JasArt.

Les Petits Ecoliers from La Maison d'Isabelle

Next on our shopping list, Les Petits Ecoliers from La Maison d’Isabelle. This charming collection of DIY kits are available a variety of colours and come with all the equipment you need to create a simple cross-stitch slate for/with your little ones {pictured top right in image}. Also in the collection, a range of handmade keepsakes for kids.

Hair Clips and Headbands by Summerblossom

We’re saving some room in our handmade shopping basket for these Hair Clips and Headbands by Summerblossom. These crafty folks make a beautiful range of hair accessories for babies and kids, but you can also get them in grown up sizes for Mum. The colours are quite divine.

Handmade Clothing by Isobel et Nathalie

Last stop today, some Handmade Clothing from Isobel et Nathalie. I’m completely in love with the floral fabric in these two pieces. The collection includes a range of children’s clothing made from vintage and designer fabrics and trims. Simply charming.

Well folks, that’s it from me for another working week on {KID} independent. Drop in for breakfast tomorrow morning… we’ll be chilling out on the back deck with freshly made strawberry smoothies. Have a wonderful weekend.
