Happy Monday! I hope your week is off to a fabulous start! Today I have the absolute pleasure of sharing something so delicious it will have clicking as fast as your little hands can take you just to find out more! Introducing Creative Contessa, Lori Marie and her Pretty Little Things.
Lori Marie is designer based in Oakland, California who started out as an aerospace engineering major at UC San Diego. She decided to take some art classes to balance out her math and science courses and soon discovered that design is way more fun. She switched to fashion design, and the rest, as they say, is history! Since then she’s worked for various big name brands, appeared on the Martha Stewart show and continued on to start her own little home studio called “The Tiny House”.
It was Miss Adrianna and her pet goldfish {pictured at the top of the page} that inspired today’s post. I find her green hair and striped legs quite enchanting. Not to mention the heart and arrow tattoo on her arm, and her tiny heart-shaped mouth. All of Lori’s creations feature a mix of colourful cotton prints and interesting details and textures. This is definitely a shop to add to your favourites list.
