like most mums a sleep in whilest hubby takes little boy to the park then family time maybe a picnic lunch and an afternoon activity
With five children, life is pretty hectic in our household….I would love to be able to sleep in, enjoy a freshly made (real!) coffee in bed made by my son, followed by pancakes cooked by my other children (in bed), be able to read a book to my heart’s content……then crochet in bed, have a cup of tea (made by my husband), and finally get up and have a shower all by myself, undisturbed with no one coming in or calling me, wanting something!!! Mmmmm…..bliss!
Start with a lie in, coffee and paper followed by a trip to Perth Cultural center, quick squize at the markets lunch in Northbridge (somewhere I haven’t been before)there then spending the afternoon with the family in some sort of combination of Art Gallery\Museum\State Library. Easy dinner, kids to bed finished with a glass of wine and movie. Perfect Sunday!
Camping with my family out bush. Waking up early to a clear crisp morning with the embers of the fire still glowing. Before everyone wakes up I’d go for a walk in the peace, then follow my nose back to camp for a yummy breakfast with my girls and man. Then I’d jump in my hammock and have a good long read.
Sleeping in and rising to a lovely brunch, followed by a bit of gardening, reading the paper and catching up with friends and family afterwards.
the perfect morning is where hub and I get a proper snuggle & sleep in. next best is when the hub takes miss 9mths for a walk and i get a solo sleep in

Coffee then a snooze again
Sunshine, hugs, a book to read
Then bacon and eggs is all I’d need
Mmmmm… I’ll have to let you know after Sunday 8th May (Mother’s Day). Each year hubby and kids think of something to beat my ideal Sunday from the year before!
Walking up and knowing that i have the WHOLE day to myself, Mr 1 and the hubbie. FAMILY TIME!- No jobs, no phone calls, no distractions- Just me and my family. I wouldn’t care what we do but just do it together
My ideal Sunday Morning would include a relaxing brunch with real coffee, a leisurely walk by the river with our boys feeding the ducks and turtles and a visit to the local markets…Ahh, coffee, boys and shopping what more could a girl want!
A little sleep in then cudddles with my children would be lovely.
My ideal Sunday morning would be sleeping in, and having the kids come into my room to eat breakfast in bed- all of us!
I wish for my kids to make my first breakfast in bed, no matter the carnage involved.
Oh my perfect Sunday morning would include sleeping in a bit, some snuggles with the kids in bed, some yoga or time to knit, and then brunch with my husband and kids. But for now, I’d happily settle for just some sleeping in
Sleeping in past 7 a.m.!
A complete 30 minutes all to myself (without any interruptions) to enjoy and finish my breakfast while reading my favourite magazine.

Surpise early visit from my adult son..bearing gifts! Breaky from Maccas – egg and bacon muffin! Then cuppa and one on one chat…luv it!
An ideal Sunday morning would be waking up to a cool breezy morning, my baby’s toothless smile and breakfast in bed made by my loving husband
I would love to wake from a long uninterrupted sleep… To a beautiful clean house, with everybody showered and dressed ready for an outing together. This would be bliss… Never happens!
My perfect Sunday morning is waking up, rubbing my swollen pregnant tummy and saying good morning to our growing baby boy and my husband … then going down to the park for a sausage sizzle barbeque. Oh – and then reading in a hammock under a tree with a hot chocolate and finishing the afternoon with a nap!
Life is too short to sleep in – I embrace the morning sunrise by taking a brisk walk, and come home to a steaming shower to start my day refreshed. The ensuing hours of Sunday would ideally be spent sharing quality time with my family in the great outdoors!
My Ideal Sunday Morning is every Sunday Morning when the kids come and jump into bed with my husband and I, we all snuggle in together and talk about the week just gone. Its nice just to be able to sit back and appreciate the things you have and that is your the beatiful people around you, your family.
Butter is to croissant what my ideal Sunday morning is to me, warm, rich, decadent and delicious!

I love to stay in bed with a cup of tea, then read the paper on a giant blanket in the park after a lovely breakfast. Maybe pancakes. Lots of family and friends and relaxing! With hugs too. Yes.

My ideal Sunday morning would go like this…
The alarm sounds at seven, I rise from my bed,
Hot breakfast is waiting for me.
My favourite dishes, prepared by my husband,
For he loves to spoil me, you see.
When baby arises (she sleeps in ’til eight),
The three of us cuddle together.
Then we stroll out the door on a family adventure,
Enjoying the morning’s fine weather.
For me a perfect Sunday morning is a lovely cup of herbal tea while watching Insiders on ABC. I don’t get much time to catch up on politics so this 1 hour break is bliss to me!
My ideal Sunday morning happens once a week on a Sunday – lots of loving cuddles with my sons and reading a favourite story with them and playing a game. In between all this, there will be chaos making a yummy breakfast of eggs with toast and a cup of tea, then a walk together around the local park. And I LOVE Sunday mornings with my boys. I wouldn’t want it any other way!
Having hubby look after the kids in the morning so i can sleep in after the morning feed. then a nice breakfast and out to the park or out for coffee with the family.
My perfect Sunday would be if my husband didn’t have to be away for work this year
. Spending time with him and our two beautiful girls is my perfect everyday!
My 18-month-old wakes several times a night and has to be breastfed back to sleep, so I’m living in a state of constant exhaustion. On Sundays, my husband wakes up early and plays with her all morning, allowing me to catch up on some sleep. So that’s my ideal Sunday morning, which luckily does come true every week.
Wake up to a kid free house and just lounge around in bed, reading and eating.
Waking up gradually late in the morning and seeing a smiling baby playing in the cot next to me. Having a relaxed breakfast then going for an easy walk around the farm
No rushing, nowhere to go, just relaxing!
Sleeping in and breakfast in bed ..simple but very appealing….and just maybe when I actually get up the house will be spick and span…or a just a little tidier than usual. Thats what I call a great Sunday morning.
Like any Mum, I’d love to wake up in my own sweet time, not because my mini-human alarm clock believes day has arrived. Most of all, however, I’d love to visit the loo completely privately – no visits, no interruptions, no wailing “where are you Mummy?” Now THAT would be a treat!
A proper, undisturbed sleep-in, then undisturbed reading of the paper and a yummy breakfast – note the theme!
A leisurely lie in with breakfast in bed (oj, vegemite on toast, hot coffee) then up for a hot shower, and out into the garden with the kids and husband.
Once a month my husband and I drop the kids at Nana’s and head out to brunch at the place we spent many a Sunday pre-kids. It was the place we went on our first date. We also went there the day after our wedding, to celebrate our University graduations, and to celebrate the news that we were expecting (post IVF). It has a special place in our hearts. In the afternoon, we pick up the kids and get ice cream to eat in the park.
Morning cuddles with the little people, paper in bed and coffee out, followed by a stroll along the beach-all the better in winder when you can rug and snuggle up1
Get up at 5.30 to feed babies before going for a ten kilometre run. Come home, make four course breaky for my four children and husband before a day of housecleaning. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA! not!
Of course I love exactly what every other Mum in the WORLD loves on a Sunday – a sleep in, peace and breaky in bed
Ooh my ideal Sunday morning would be a sleep-in, followed by breakfast in bed, then hubby looking after our son all morning, so I could do my nails! Oh My God, that would be fantastic!
To wake up to birds singing and not kids screaming
To lay awake in my bed for at least 5 minutes without having to get up.
To have hubby cook breakfast or even a cuppa for me to have in bed
Aw bliss!!!!
My ideal Sunday morning involves getting up at 4am and it’s not too chilly outside, there’s a warmth in the breeze. Walking into the kitchen and my hot brekkie is there waiting for me. My chauffeur beeps outside when I am ready to my favourite tune of the moment. We head off to my favourite markets with clear traffic and no red lights. When there, I stroll around the markets knowing that the handsome chauffeur will carry all my purchases for me.
