Musical Stew kicks off with a funky a track called “States And Capitals” which will get you groovin’ and learnin’ even if you were born and raised on the Australian coast, rather than in the heart of the US of A.

I really love track 4, “When The Lights Go Out”, which is a Ben Folds-esque ballad to lull little ones off to sleep. I’m also very fond of the bluesy “Medicine Takes Your Aches Away” and “My Heart Goes With You” is impossible to listen to without getting a little bit teary, especially if you sent your kids off to school for the first time this year!

It’s no great surprise that the kid’s favourite on this album is called “Don’t Pick That Snoot”… you can guess what that one’s about! Oh, and “ABCs Of Funny Words” is a super fun track for the whole family and is especially good when you need a bit of a giggle.

You can listen to some samples and download a free track at the Musical Stew website.

Congratulations to our winners, Heidi L. and Kate J.
