Oh my cuteness! This week I had the pleasure of meeting Judith (Mum of five and creative soul) from 2 Cute 2 Be True, an appropriate name for a newly launched toy label in the Netherlands. These perfectly playful crocheted toys come with a hint of kawaii flair and whole lot of heartwarming, snuggle-worthy love.
2 Cute 2 Be True’s debut collection includes a range of big cuddly dolls (Barbara Bunny, Lulu Lamb, Pepe Piglet and friends) as well as “Best Friends Forever” animals, complete with their own little home that you can carry around on exciting adventures. You’ll also find some DIY goodies (don’t worry, no crochet required) such as giant candy necklaces, crocheted leaves and decorative chains.
2 Cute 2 Be True products are designed in the Netherlands by Judith and made in Thailand through OTOP, One Tambon One Product (Tambon means village). This project empowers and supports women in small villages to hone their crafts whilst earning a fair wage.
