DAY THIRTY… Say what!? It’s the last day of the World T-shirt Tour!? Holy t-shirty goodness, Batman! That came around fast!! I hope you’ve enjoyed your trip around the globe. I’ve had an absolute blast sharing all these mighty fine designers with you, so it’s with mixed emotions that I share our very last tee. Introducing the awesomely iconic “lettuce turnip the beet” tee from Elektra.

Elektra is an inspired Fashion Institute grad (think Project Runway) and former Rotary World Peace Fellow with a silkscreen printing addiction, a passion for entrepreneurship, and an insatiable appetite for urban design. Her Lettuce brand has exploded in popularity this year with the public and celebrities alike. Not to be missed, her packaging is entirely hand-printed and very memorable — even Sarah Jessica Parker raved about it!

The “lettuce turnip the beet” tee is screen printed by hand (with PVC free water-based ink) onto an eco-heather tee. Elektra prints all of her tees in a little workshop in Chelsea, on Manhattan’s west side in New York City. Her designs are highly coveted, and it’s impossible to buy just one… you’ll need one in Mummy and Daddy size as well!
