GIVEAWAY - Solvej Baby and Toddler Swing!

Hi folks, today’s giveaway couldn’t come at a better time. The birds are chirping, the sun is beckoning, and outdoor play is just a few steps away! This week our friends at Solvej (pronounced soolvay) are inviting you to swing your way into summer with their baby and toddler swing.

Win a Solvej Baby and Toddler Swing

First up today, I’d like to provide a review of the Solvej Swings to get you super excited about the giveaway. I have a particular fondness for the backyard swing (although this one can also be installed inside) as they bring back so many heartwarming memories from my own childhood (think tyre swing on a mango tree).

There are several things that I find especially attractive about the Solvej Swings. Firstly, the wood is sourced from the Matai tree, which is native to NZ, and is salvaged from the Tokaroa region (read more here). The seat is made from rot proof and durable acrylic canvas (also available in organic hemp) and the sizing is suitable for kids aged from 6 mths – 6 years making it excellent value for money.

When it comes to design features, I love how you can easily switch the swing to suit the age and needs of your child (i.e. from baby to toddler). The domed leg dividers stop kids from slipping out of the swing, and there is also an internal safety belt for extra security. Lastly, the colours! You can choose from either The Pasifika Range, inspired by the deep forests, vibrant flowers and vast ocean of the Pacific region or The Naturals Range, inspired by the more subtle and softer colours in nature.

I love the Kea Baby Swing with the wooden play beads on the ropes. And I love the Solvej Swing!
We’re about to have our 4th little cherub and the others are of an age to still swing in the bigger Solvej Swing – so would have to say that’s getting our vote. 🙂
    Great sustainable design.
