Sneak Peek... Oishi-m Autumn 2013!

I always feel privileged to meet talented Australian designers who spend their time crafting, creating, designing and innovating products for our always cherished (and sometimes spoilt) little poppets. One such label is Oishi-m. These guys create original, smile-worthy outfits with colours that pop, and patterns that inspire. Today I’d like to share a sneak peek at their Autumn 2013 collection.

Late February 2013 will see Oishi-m launch their much anticipated Autumn 13 collection. The first release of their cold weather goodness, the collection will include luscious hoodies, colourful trackpants (including the debut of their Big trackpants), long sleeve tees and their always popular jeans.

Inspired by crazy quirky Japanese styling, Oishi-m’s designer Fiona McPherson has travelled the world to source the fabric for this beautiful Autumn 13 collection. Using bright poppy primary colours of red, lime greens, sunshine and striped sleeves, this largely unisex collection by Oishi-m suits the boys just as well as the girls.

Once Fiona collects (or hoards) the fabrics, it’s down to mixing and matching the beautiful patterns to create a quirky yet cohesive collection. Oishi-m is made in Melbourne with lots of love and their limited edition garments sell like hotcakes, making each Oishi-m garment all that more special.

The Oishi-m crew had a blast snapping these Autumn 13 images in their home town of Torquay. Juggling 14 children, many many outfits, two dirty dogs, a skate ramp, a video guy, a stills photographer, trucks and some sunshine… in amongst the chaos they managed to get some sweet shots.
