GIVEAWAY + REVIEW - Boxtop Jenkins

Hey folks, it’s been a miserable rainy weekend here in the KID household, and we’ve been cheering ourselves up with this awesome album from Boxtop Jenkins. It’s called “You’re happier when you’re happy” (indeed) and features a dozen upbeat, smile-inducing tracks. I’m kind of obsessed with first track on the album, “Barry Blue Berry”.

Boxtop Jenkins¬†is a musical project by Franklin Bunn, a man with a love for folk, bluegrass, rock and storytelling. On this album you’ll find collaborations with Grammy winning artists such as Indigo Girls and Shawn Mullins, and more smooth grooves than you can shake an iPod at…

Top tracks on this album include Toast and Jelly (they had a little party), Swingin’ Monkeys (they can jump and they can jive, and really come alive), and My Uncle Is An Ant (he works inside a plant). You’ll listen to it once, and then you’ll listen to it again… and again… and again! Luckily for you, it’s as catchy as chicken pox at summer camp.

You can find out more about Boxtop Jenkins online, or buy a copy of “You’re happier when you’re happy” via iTunes.
