Happy Monday! I’m kicking off the week with an awesome giveaway from wheelsnboards! These guys are based in Byron Bay and create an incredibly cool range of skateboards and shelving. We’ve developed a massive design crush on their skateboard shelf and today we’d like to share our review, and give you the chance to win one for your child’s room. Woohoo!
Wheelsnboards is a creative project of Philippe Soria, who grew up in France and now lives with his young family (partner Lee and kids, 8-year-old Indigo and 6-year-old East) in Byron Bay. Philippe is also an accomplished bike and board-rider: BMX Champion of France at the age of eleven, he started skateboarding and windsurfing at the age of fifteen, spent five years snowboarding in Canada, and finally found a new passion for surfing after moving in Australia in his late twenties.
The wheelsnboards skateboard shelf is made from strong Canadian maple plywood. This is not a flimsy replica; it’s a super strong, high quality skateboard that comes ready to hang with brackets and screws that can hold up to 10kgs. We love the retro appeal of these boards and the neutral wood, with a choice of black or white wheels and brackets, make it easy to match with any decor. The best part? You can include one in your nursery decor, and it will age perfectly with your child throughout the years… from early childhood, to adolescence, and beyond.
You can buy these sweet boards (as a skateboard for riding, or as a shelf) online at wheelsnboards, with the option of personalised engraving or photo printing.
