Today’s style inspiration comes to you from handmade children’s label Tuli Bert. These guys make cool, comfy, and confident fashion for kids including tees, shorts, rompers, and my favourite… harem pants! Catering for kids aged 3 months to 10 years, Tuli Bert is definitely one to add to your favourites list… especially for the upcoming Winter season!
In review today we have a pair of Tuli Bert toddler harem pants. These pants are constructed from high quality cottons (with a hint of Lycra for stretch) and are super durable (especially the designs with the knee patches). We took a pair of the Tuli Bert camo pants on a “training” run to a kindy gym class where they enjoyed all kinds of tumbles, dives, and commando crawls. The cut of the pants allows free flowing movement, while boasting a easy-wearing, stylish silhouette.
This season’s collection of Tuli Bert pants are seriously cool, with an urban edge. In this feature you’ll find a selection of our personal favourites… but there’s tons more available via the Tuli Bert Etsy store.
The verdict… urban styling for confident kids!
Tuli Bert was born from designer Liat’s desire to create cool and comfy pants for her son Elay, who was one year old while they were living in the fishing village Vagator, India. She explains, “India was the main provider of my fashion inspiration, from the local fishermen, to the full-of-chic European tourists, to the stunning views and the endless sensation of freedom”.
Liat chose the name Tuli Bert as a nod to the nick name that Elay gave to his younger brother when he was born. Her vision for the label comes from many different sources, including the American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, Rock n’ Roll music (especially the Pixies), graffiti art, Kabbala studies, and Japanese Ninjas. Liat mainly designs pants for boys with unique prints and with no compromise on comfort. She works with soft, natural, quality fabrics and has recently begun dyeing fabrics by hand.
