Hooray for the weekend! Today I’d like to introduce KID independent reader, Lisa from Victoria, who has joined us to share her review of the Bitybean UltraCompact baby carrier. This carrier is designed for infants and toddlers over 3 months (up to 40 pounds / 18kgs). It weighs a tiny 8oz (226g) and folds up to the size of a child’s water bottle. Take it away Lisa!
I’ve been using the Bitybean for a few weeks now and I can’t leave home without it!
When the carrier arrived in the mail, I couldn’t get over how light and compact it is, folding up to size of a pair of sunglasses! I had been using another baby carrier and although it’s great, it’s also pretty big and bulky.
My baby is five months old and is currently going through a fussy period, sometimes he is happy to be in the pram and other times he would rather be in my arms. The Bitybean has made my life easy, because it’s always with me, it gives me the option to strap him in and keep on walking, crisis adverted.
The carrier is comfortable to wear and easy to adjust with my baby inside. He finds it quite comfy too, and has fallen asleep in the Bitybean on a few occasions.
I have to mention that it would be best to wait until your baby can support their own head before using this carrier as it doesn’t offer a lot of neck support.
I love that the carrier is made from waterproof material, which makes it easy to keep clean and dry, especially after being covered in baby drool. Once the weather warms up I can’t wait to use it in the water too. What a great idea!
I would definitely recommend the Bitybean carrier to other parents, as it is so easy to use, can be taken anywhere, and my baby loves it!
I’m looking forward to many more outings with my Bitybean carrier.
