We’ve recently had a cold snap here in Queensland, and for the sake of saving my sleep, I decided to invest in an all-in-one toddler sleeping bag. I chose the ergoPouch 3.5 tog Sleepsuit Bag in the lovely pale mint hue with leaf detailing… It’s proving to be an excellent investment, so today I’d like to share my review.
The ergoPouch 3.5 tog Sleepsuit Bag is best suited to chilly nights ranging from 14c – 21c. It comes packaged with a thermometer that lets you know your current room temperature along with a handy chart that details how to best dress your little one for the evening. I’ve found this very useful for putting my mind at ease when choosing garments, to be sure that I’m not overheating.
One of my favourite features of this bag is the cotton fleece sleeves. They have built-in fold down mitts to keep little hands warm (although we haven’t used these as my little poppet prefers to have his hands free) and are long enough to make it through several years of wear. I also find that the built in sleeves make it much easier to achieve an appropriate level of warmth, without needing tons of layers.
The ergoPouch 3.5 tog Sleepsuit Bag is made with a 400+ thread count organic cotton outer and cotton fleece sleeves, giving it a cosy and high quality feel. You can use it as a traditional Sleep Bag, or easily convert to the SleepSuit by simply undoing a zipper (no high-tech difficult attachments needed). If your little one is walking, you’ll find the grip pads on the feet to be an essential addition. You can also use the zips for easy access nappy changes.
You can purchase the ergoPouch 3.5 tog Sleepsuit Bag at VnC Online for $84.95. I’m using the 12-36 months size and feel that the pricing is quite reasonable, given that it will likely last me through several winters.
The verdict… high quality, super warm, and fabulously practical!
