Hooray, it’s Thursday… and that means time for another fabulous giveaway! Today I’m so pleased to welcome Sharryn from Pici Papucs and her simply gorgeous range of handmade leather shoes for kids. I fell in love with these recently when I stumbled across Sharryn’s Etsy store, and today I’d like to swag two lucky readers with a pair of their choice!

The Pici Papucs (which is pronounced “pitzee popooch” and means “little slippers” in Hungarian) collection is handcrafted by Sharryn, designer and Mum, in her little studio in Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges. Sharryn uses Australian leather, suede and lambswool and crafts her shoes to Podiatrist recommend standards which includes flexible, non slip soles, a roomy toe box and breathable uppers to allow little feet to move and grow without restriction.

Top of the mornin’ to ya! It’s time for another fabulous giveaway! Today we’ve invited our friend Kylie from and the little dog laughed along to share some happy snaps from her winter 2012 collection. Kylie launched her label and the little dog laughed in early 2008 and has been whipping up sweet treats and dainty delights ever since. She especially loves blending different textures and mediums to create interesting pieces, with a hint of nostalgia on the side… ! This season, I’m adoring the Cinnamon ‘Sabrina’ Dress as pictured below (which also comes in navy). I’m also a little bit gaga over Kylie’s hand knitted blankets and animals. Simply lovely!

Ultramagnetic Universal Love Revolution!

Hey folks! I hope you had a fun long weekend! We’re back on board this morning with a fun giveaway and a first look at the new music release from our friends Mista Cookie Jar & The Chocolate Chips. Their album, which drops today, is called Ultramagnetic Universal Love Revolution, and when it comes to kid’s music, it doesn’t get much more funky than this.

Before I launch into my usual diatribe of all the songs that I love off this album (of which there are many), I thought I’d stop for a minute and share what happened when I first played it to a bunch of 6 – 9 year olds. If you can imagine throwing a box full of high bouncing balls off a balcony into a backyard full of puppies… that’s akin to the fervent (I should I say furr-vent, to further extend my puppy analogy… *zing*!) excitement and craziness that ensued.

Mista Cookie Jar & The Cookie Chips have this old school hip hop sound, with a cheerful inner child chant. In fact, the song of the same name “Inner Child Rock” is my personal favourite and truly sets the tone for the album.

Other tracks I dig include “Lover Not a Fighter” for its Jackson Five vibe, “Magic Shoes” and “Ur the Music” for their sweet story lines, and title track “Ultramagnetic Universal Love Revolution” for it’s reggae-esque beats.

The song that I’ve decided to share with you today is called “Happy Place” and is the 1st official music video release off Mista Cookie Jar’s 2nd LP, Ultramagnetic Universal Love Revolution. It was filmed in Santa Monica and Venice, California, and was inspired by… “our regular dinner-party-jam-sessions with some of our closest friends and family”.

I live for denim, in fact, it’s just about a daily staple for everyone that lives in my household. Our friends at Havoc Denim have recently released their awesome winter collection, which as you can see from the images below is jam-packed with colour and style. Up for grabs today, we have two sweet prizes, a girls pack AND a boys pack, each consisting of a pair of jeans and a denim jacket.

Havoc Denim is serving up some serious style this season with easy-wearing pinafore dresses (I especially love the Allegra Ruffle Dress), funky denim crop jackets, cropped short sleeve hooded jackets, and their signature item, colourful skinny jeans!

I’m not normally a big fan of purple, but I’m mad about the purple luxe skinny jeans. They’re just so fun. I also dig the Janeiro bleach out blue unisex jeans for their versatility.
