Hide & Seek Market brings together young and emerging independent crafters and offers gorgeous handcrafted baby and kid’s products. The market is held at Wrights Rd Community Centre, Corner Wrights Rd and Harrington Ave in Kellyville, NSW {in the hills}.

The brains behind Hide & Seek is Aloma Raez, lover of all things crafty… sewing, photography, jewellery making and quilting. Aloma is mum to an 8 month old girl, who keeps her busy, but she’s always on the lookout for new projects to sink her teeth into. She especially loves going to markets and supporting local crafters. A regular face at the Sydney markets, Aloma recently noticed that the hills didn’t have a market to call their own… and so Hide & Seek was born!

Many of the stallholders that you will meet at Hide & Seek are parents themselves, and all of them are avid crafters who love what they do. This passion clearly shines through in their lovingly handmade products. You can expect to find quirky and funky products for kids and babies including stylish clothing, cute bedroom decorations, handcrafted softies, stylish quilts, designer linen, vintage inspired creations and much more!

Hide & Seek is not just a market, but so much more… Aloma hopes to offer craft workshops in the coming months to keep crafting alive in the hills. Stay tuned for more info!

If there’s one thing that I love more than a handmade market, it’s a handmade eco-market! The friendly folks at brisStyle are gearing up for their first ever independent eco market this weekend, Saturday 10 July, at St Augustine’s Church on Racecourse Rd at Hamilton {9am – 2pm}. Here is a little sneaky peek…

The BrisStyle eco market is proudly sponsored by one of our favourite eco fashion reads, Peppermint Magazine. On the day you’ll find lots of divine goodies from brisStyle members who live; craft, stitch and dye by the mantra of reduce, reuse and recycle. Every item for sale must meet brisStyle’s strict eco-criteria, guaranteeing ethical shoppers can purchase unique and exquisitely made creations without putting a strain on their wallets or our earth’s precious resources.

You’ll also have the chance to participate in some fun activities such as a Reverse Garbage mini shop & artworks display and stallholder demonstrations showcasing eco practises. When it’s time for a shopping break, try out some tasty Vegan hotdogs from Hellhound Hotdogs.
