If there’s one thing that I truly love about winter, it’s snuggly pyjamas and cuddly doonas. Cosy is key, and doesn’t hurt if you throw a little bit of cuteness in there too! Amanda Evans, who you may know from My Munchkin Home, has just launched a new venture, Cocoome Organic Sleepwear for Kids.

All of these sweet styles from the Cocoome Organic Sleepwear Autumn Winter 2012 collection are made from 100% organic cotton and are completely chemical and toxin free. The designs are inspired by nature, in a range of colours and styles to suit little ones from the bubs to big kids too.

Cocoome Organic will be available for purchase from the online store and selected boutique retailers from late February 2012. Prices range from $39.95 for rompers, to $44.95 for long john style.

Hi folks! I hope you all had a lovely Australia Day yesterday. Today I’d like to share a first look at the gorgeous new Winter 2012 collection from Australian kids clothing label Knuffle Kid. The collection is called Waldheim and it’s a hip mix of olive, grey and black mixed with navy, red and musk pink.

The Story of Waldheim (A True Story)

A long time ago deep in the Tasmanian bush, there lived a couple. Gustav and Kate loved each other deeply. They built a home with their bare hands and named it ‘Waldheim – home in the forest’. It stood proudly in one of the remotest and wildest parts of the island, and they wanted to share their beloved home and environment with everyone. It is now a national park, Cradle Mountain National Park to be exact.

Knuffle Kid caters to boys and girls 1 to 8 years. One of the things that I love about the range is that many pieces are unisex, and they mix and match so well. This year’s signature fabric is silhouettes of old gum trees and leaves, with the colours echoing gums, the colours of the rocks at sunset and the berries of the native flora of Cradle Mountain National Park.

The Une Sardine à Rio children’s clothing that you see here is hand knitted in France by mothers and grandmothers from 100% merino eco wool. Most of these items are available in a selection of colours and sizes in flexible sizing that grows with your child to give many years of wear.

This week on my indie style radar is the gorgeous winter 2011 collection from Lillipops Designs. I’m completely caught up in the colours and patterns. I’m sure you’re not surprised… Wave a few pieces of pink, turquoise, yellow, and orange fabric in front of me and I’ll follow you around like a kitten chasing a piece of string…!

This season from Lillipops Designs the dress prints and styles are inspired by the vibrant hues and shapes of Asia, complete with Obi Belts and Origami Prints. You’ll also find some bold black and white stripes, blended with soft details such as ballet-esque pink waist ties and angel wing appliques. Rounding out the collection is the bohemian pink paisley kaftan and cummerbund style skirt. This is certainly a collection to be adored!
