Offbeat Oddities... Skippity Hop Creatures

One of my all time favourite things to write about here on KID independent is offbeat oddities that mix usual and quirky design with a pinch of cuteness on the side. Case in point, these funky creations from Skippity Hop Creatures! Each one is handmade from colourful wool and felt and stands around 12″ tall.

A Hunka Hunka Furry Love...

I’ve decided that I want one of these furry monsters from Little Voice to travel to Australia to join our merry crew of misfits…  ah, I mean… our happy family. Each one is hilariously huggable and has its own unique personality and background story. I’m having a tough time deciding which one I like best, but I am a little bit fond of Graham in his blue glasses!

Sublime Sunday - MEND by Ruby Grace

Hi folks, and Happy Sunday. Today I have a dolly crush that I’d like to share. The object of my affection is a little label out of San Francisco called Mend by Ruby Grace. The dollies in Ruby’s little family are lovingly handcrafted from repurposed fabric and upcycled vintage treasures, making each one unique and one of a kind.
