Hooray, it’s Thursday… and that means time for another fabulous giveaway! Today I’m so pleased to welcome Sharryn from Pici Papucs and her simply gorgeous range of handmade leather shoes for kids. I fell in love with these recently when I stumbled across Sharryn’s Etsy store, and today I’d like to swag two lucky readers with a pair of their choice!

The Pici Papucs (which is pronounced “pitzee popooch” and means “little slippers” in Hungarian) collection is handcrafted by Sharryn, designer and Mum, in her little studio in Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges. Sharryn uses Australian leather, suede and lambswool and crafts her shoes to Podiatrist recommend standards which includes flexible, non slip soles, a roomy toe box and breathable uppers to allow little feet to move and grow without restriction.

Happy Monday! I hope you’re starting off the week with a sparkle in your eye and a spring in your step! To give you a little nudge in the right direction I thought I’d share some adorable little handmade shoes all the way from Hana31 in Deer Park, Texas! Each pair is made from 100% cotton yarn and the styles are so delicious you could serve them with whipped cream and strawberries on the side!

I recently enjoyed reading a wonderful feature and creative project by Jessica Haley on Joyfolie and thought you might find it inspiring too. Jessica was inspired by The Reusers Guide to Green Living to create some shoes from materials that would otherwise be discarded. The result was this collection of upcycled cuties.

The first pair in the collection {pictured above} are made from a bunch of brown plastic grocery bags from a local general store. The second pair {picture below} is made from a Starbucks Coffee Bag, and the final pair, sporting a bright red logo that is no doubt familiar to you, is made from a Target plastic shopping bag. Aren’t they amazing?!
