We wish you a Merry Kitschmas… and a handmade New Year! Oooooh, I wish I had found these delightful little treats from KittyKatDance earlier so I could have one of them waiting ever so patiently under my tree on Christmas morning. Oh well, I can certainly enjoy the kitschy sweetness nonetheless!!

Introducing the summer collection by Possum & Banjo.

Possum & Banjo is a handmade label based in sunny Brisbane, Queensland. The brains behind the operation, Leanne Schmid, designs and sews all of her own garments in small quantities and limited edition 100% cotton fabrics. There’s a range of styles to suit just about every little guy’s style including hot rods, street cars, vintage fishing boats, motorbikes, retro cruisers, vintage holdens, muscle cars and kombi vans!

Bursting out of the gate this bright and sunny Tuesday morning is a bunch of vintage inspired goodness from the folks at you’re it! These guys specialise in old school styling for kids aged 1 – 8 years.. I’m a bit smitten with the Bucking Bronco tee for the boys and the Pegasus tee for the girls. They’re… retro-tastic!

Fresh Baked Friday… Toddlin Town!

Wah! Excitement! A blog post all about handmade retro-inspired clothing for kidlets all the way from Germany {a.k.a Retro-inspirierte Kleinkindermode}. The collection is by toddlin town and it’s all about old school 1960s and 70s patterns, mint condition vintage fabrics and the odd modern thread thrown in for good measure. So colourful, so kitsch!

Zoé de las Cases – The Vintage Way

Happy, happy… Joy, joy! Today I have a big bunch of quirkiness for you direct from the creative mind of French designer Zoé de las Cases. Zoé’s style is inspired by old family photos and memories of her childhood and the resulting goods are retro-fabulous!

My favourite pieces from the collection are these wall hangings modelled on vintage playsets. Each one is made from sturdy cardboard and the range includes a toy kitchen, laundry or grocer’s shop. You’ll also find a range of art prints, cushions, and stamps in the collection. Zoé de las Cases has just recently become available in Australia, exclusively through Lark.

I’ve fallen head over heels for this Portland {USA} based handmade kids label! The colours and patterns are {as Robert Palmer would say} simply irresistible… swoon!

In this handmade collection by Vintage Child: Modern you’ll find a range of playsuits, dresses, bubble shorts, blouses, jackets and capes. The silhouettes and detailing is vintage inspired and simply charming whilst the colours are ultra modern and seriously cheerful.
